Heroes Night Out
Heroes Night Out is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide our wounded heroes and their families dinners, a day or night at a sporting event, amusement park, or any other venue that gives them a well deserved break from their every day routine while recovering from their injuries. Most of these families are staying at a Fisher House. Learn more at www.heroesnightout.org
Dell Children’s Hospital Children's Medical Center Foundation of Central Texas serves as the fundraising arm for Dell Children's Medical Center. Learn more at www.childrensaustin.org/.
Heart House
Heart House Austin is a free afterschool program dedicated to providing a safe haven and academic support to low-income children and encouraging them to become good citizens. Learn more at www.hearthouse.org.
The Horse Boy Foundation
We bring special needs (mainly kids on the autism spectrum) children and ‘neuro-typical’ (ie ‘normal’) children together, using the horse as a social nexus. We have no specific program – each child is catered to according to their own needs. Our horses are highly adaptable. We believe strongly that special needs kids, and kids on the autism spectrum, can go way beyond mere equine therapy. Learn more at www.horseboyfoundation.org.
Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas
The mission of DSACT is to provide education, support, and resources to individuals with Down syndrome, their families, professionals, and the community while building public awareness and acceptance of the abilities of individuals with Down syndrome. Learn more at www.dsact.com.
Austin Children’s Shelter
